Sarah Ginsburg is a documentarian and story-seeker based in Los Angeles. She directs, shoots and edits short and feature-length films about the often overlooked nuances, places and people in daily life. Sarah shot and co-edited feature documentary Best and Most Beautiful Things (SXSW 2016) and was an editor on Hollow (2013), the Peabody award-winning and Emmy-nominated interactive documentary. Through Hollow, she met Elaine Sheldon, and together they created She Does podcast, an award-winning series of audio portraits featuring women making waves in media. Sarah has edited for FRONTLINE, a new MIT digital platform and is currently directing, shooting and editing several of her own films, one of which is a series titled The Sign Project which follows a commercial archeologist as he treks through Boston’s neighborhoods in search of a very specific type of sign. Sarah holds a BA in film production from Emerson College and his originally from Columbia, Missouri.
